This past February we sponsored our first “Pastors’ Day at the Capitol.” There were approximately 40 pastors, along with volunteers and others who participated in the inaugural event. The focus of the day was gathering in the Kansas Capitol rotunda for prayer led by several of our Kansas pastors. We also had time for prayer walks, tours of the capitol building focusing on our Kansas Christian history, and introduction of pastors in the Kansas House of Representatives. Overall, our desire was to pray for our governing authorities and to give glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
With the unknowns of the coronavirus we still have yet to determine our path forward for Pastors Day in 2021. Please look for more information as we approach the end of 2020.
