The Church Ambassador Network began as part of the ministry of The Family Leader Foundation in Iowa in 2014. Their Vice President of Church Engagement, Greg Baker, has provided vision and leadership for this initiative since its inception. Through Iowa’s experiences other states can now benefit with many lessons that have been learned. Greg provided the vast majority of the informational content on this website.
The Daniel Impact (previously known as the Daniel Initiative) began in 2018 in Ohio. The Daniel Impact is exporting the Church Ambassador Network to other states and perhaps eventually other nations. As of 2020 there were over ten states in various stages of implementing the Church Ambassador Network.
The Church Ambassador Network of Kansas (CAN-KS) is launching in 2020 and is an initiative of Family Policy Foundation of Kansas, which is the 501(c)(3) organization associated with Family Policy Alliance of Kansas (a 501(c)(4) organization). We are excited to see where God leads this ministry. We are trusting God here in Kansas as we embrace our mission of Inspiring the Church to Engage Government for the Advance of God’s Kingdom.
